The Seattle Post-Intelligencer Web site bannered an exclusive interview with Bill Clinton and book critic John Marshall this afternoon. Perhaps not the most thrilling online audio experience, unless you're a major Clinton (Bill) fan or want to have the inside-baseball experience of listening to an entire telephone interview. Less insight into Clinton's book and vision regarding charitable giving – he also sneaks in a Hillary plug – than the sometimes painful act of listening to a reporter aheming and OK'ing an interview subject along. "Good answer," says Marshall at one point. Well, you can listen for yourself and decide. The audio is embedded on the P-I home page. If you stick through the whole interview, you get to listen to Bill PUT THE PHONE DOWN, walk away (dead air time), and come back with his favorite book of the year.
